About this privacy policy

Yugioh Limburg cares a lot about your privacy. We only process the data we need to provide and improve our services, and we handle all information about you and your use of our services with care. Your data is never shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

This privacy policy applies to the use of our website and the services Yugioh Limburg provides. It is valid from the date shown at the top of this page; publishing a new version cancels all previous versions. It describes what information we collect about you, what we use it for, and with whom and under what conditions it may be shared with third parties. It also explains how we store and protect your data, and what rights you have regarding the personal data you give us.

If you have any questions about this policy, please contact our privacy contact person. You'll find the contact details at the end of this page.

How we process your data

Below you can read how we process your data, where we store it, how we protect it and who can see it.

Website and webshop

Our website and webshop are custom-built and hosted on a server under our own management. We have taken the necessary precautions and security measures to protect your personal data, such as SSL encryption and a strong password policy.

Event registrations

When you register for one of our events, we process your name, email address and Konami ID. We use these only to manage your registration, run the tournament and contact you about the event.

Email

For our regular business email we use the email services of an external provider. This provider has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to prevent misuse, loss or corruption of your data. It has no access to our mailbox, and we treat our email traffic confidentially.

Payments: Mollie

For processing payments in our webshop and for event registrations, we use the payment provider Mollie. Mollie processes your name, address and residence details, as well as payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data, and does not keep your data longer than the law allows.

Shipping

When you place an order, it is our responsibility to get it delivered to you. For delivery we may use the services of one of the following carriers:

  • PostNL
  • DHL
  • GLS
  • DPD
  • UPS
  • TNT

For a successful delivery we share your name, address and residence details with the carrier. The carrier uses this information only to deliver your order. If a carrier hires subcontractors, it shares this information with them for the same purpose.

Maps

Our event pages show an embedded map from OpenStreetMap. When such a map loads, your browser connects to OpenStreetMap's servers, which receive your IP address and technical information about your browser. See the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy for how they handle this.

External sales channels: Cardmarket

Part of our sales take place through Cardmarket. When you place an order with us on Cardmarket, Cardmarket shares your order and personal details with us. We use this information to handle and complete your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect it against loss or unauthorised use.

Why we process your data

General purpose

We use your data only to provide our services to you. This means the purpose of processing is directly related to the order, registration or request you give us. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we want to use it to contact you later, without you asking us to, we will first ask for your explicit consent.

Your data is not shared with third parties for any other purpose than meeting our accounting and administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to confidentiality by their agreement with us, an oath or a legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Information our website collects automatically is processed only to provide and/or improve our services. This information (for example your anonymised IP address, web browser and operating system) is not personal information.

Cookies

We only use cookies that are needed for the website to work, such as remembering what's in your shopping cart. We don't use tracking or advertising cookies.

Tax and criminal investigations

In some cases the government may legally require us to share your information to help with a tax or criminal investigation. In such cases we have to cooperate, but we will use the legal options available to us to object.

How long we keep your data

We keep your data for as long as you are a customer of ours. This means we keep your customer details until you tell us you no longer want to use our services; such a message also counts as a request to be forgotten. Because of our administrative obligations we are required to keep invoices containing your (personal) details. We store these safely for as long as the legal term for these obligations lasts. Our staff then no longer have access to your customer details or any documents made for your order.

Your rights

Under Dutch and European law, you have certain rights regarding the personal data we process, or that is processed on our behalf. Below you'll find these rights and how to use them.

To prevent misuse, we only send copies of your data and invoices to email addresses you have given us. If you would like to receive them at another email address, or for example by post, we will ask you to identify yourself. We keep a record of completed requests; for a request to be forgotten, we keep this record anonymised. You receive all invoices and copies of your data as structured, machine-readable files, based on the data categories we use in our systems.

You always have the right to file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) if you suspect that we are misusing your personal data.

Right of access

You always have the right to see the data we process that relates, or can be traced back, to you. You can request this from our privacy contact person, and you'll receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we send you a copy of all this data by email, to the address we know, with an overview of the processors that manage it and the categories we store it under.

Right to rectification

You always have the right to have the data we process about you corrected. You can request this from our privacy contact person, and you'll receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we confirm by email that the data has been corrected.

Right to restriction of processing

You always have the right to limit how we process the data that relates to you. You can request this from our privacy contact person, and you'll receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we confirm by email that the processing of your data is limited until you choose to lift the limitation.

Right to data portability

You always have the right to ask for the data we process about you to be processed by a third party of your choice. You can send this request to our privacy contact person, and you'll receive a response within 30 days. If your request is approved, we send you by email the invoices or copies of data that we, or third parties on our behalf, have processed. In that case we most likely can no longer provide our services to you, as we can no longer guarantee the security of the data.

Right to object and other rights

You always have the right to object to the processing of your personal data by us, or by third parties on our behalf. If you object, we immediately stop processing your data while we look into your objection. If your objection is justified, we return all invoices and/or copies of personal data that we, or third parties on our behalf, have processed up to that point, and stop processing it afterwards.

You also have the right not to be subject to automated decision-making or profiling. We process your data in such a way that this right does not apply. If you believe it does apply, please contact our privacy contact person.

Changes to this policy

We may change this privacy policy at any time. This page always shows the most recent version. If a new privacy policy affects how we process data we recently collected about you, we will let you know by email.
